Where to watch golden state valkyries vs portland fire

As of 23 September 2026, anticipation is building for the upcoming WNBA season, which will feature the league's newest expansion teams: the Golden State Valkyries and the Portland Fire. Fans eager to watch the inaugural matchup between these two franchises are advised that the official broadcast schedule for the 2027 season is expected to be finalized and released by the league office in early 2027. Historically, WNBA games are distributed across a mix of national networks including ESPN, ABC, and ION, alongside the league’s dedicated streaming platform, WNBA League Pass. Because both teams are entering their first year of competition, all games will be highly anticipated, and fans should monitor the official WNBA website and the respective team social media channels for announcements regarding ticket sales and specific television or streaming assignments. While no games have been played yet, the league has confirmed that all expansion team broadcasts will be integrated into the standard national and regional media rights packages currently held by the WNBA.
