Is jackie chan alive today

As of 29 September 2026, Jackie Chan remains alive and continues to be a prominent figure in the global film industry. Despite persistent internet hoaxes and recurring death rumors that have circulated periodically for over a decade, the legendary martial artist and actor is currently active in his professional life. Recent reports confirm that Chan is involved in the production of several upcoming international film projects, maintaining his rigorous work ethic even as he enters his early seventies. The actor has frequently addressed these false reports with humor, often using his social media platforms to reassure his global fanbase of his well-being. While he has naturally scaled back the intensity of his own death-defying stunts compared to his peak years in the 1980s and 1990s, he remains a vital presence in both Hong Kong and Hollywood cinema. His continued public appearances and ongoing commitment to philanthropic efforts further solidify that he is in good health and remains a central figure in the entertainment world today.
