Real betis vs barcelona

On 16 October 2026, Barcelona delivered a commanding performance against Real Betis at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, reinforcing their position at the top of the La Liga standings. The match, which concluded late yesterday evening, saw the Catalan side dismantle the visitors with a clinical 3-0 scoreline. Barcelona opened the scoring early in the first half through a precise strike from their star forward, who capitalized on a defensive lapse by the Betis backline. Despite Real Betis attempting to regain momentum through tactical substitutions and increased possession in the midfield, they struggled to penetrate Barcelona’s disciplined defensive structure. The hosts doubled their lead shortly after the interval, effectively neutralizing any hopes of a comeback from the Seville-based club. A late goal in the final minutes sealed the result, leaving Real Betis to reflect on a difficult night away from home. The victory marks another significant step for Barcelona in their pursuit of the domestic title, while Real Betis will look to regroup ahead of their upcoming fixture next week.
