Tcu vs baylor football

On 17 October 2026, the TCU Horned Frogs defeated the Baylor Bears in a highly anticipated Big 12 conference matchup that lived up to its reputation as a fierce rivalry. The game, held at Amon G. Carter Stadium, saw both teams trade leads throughout a defensive struggle that kept fans on edge until the final whistle. TCU’s offense managed to capitalize on a critical fourth-quarter turnover, allowing them to drive down the field and score the decisive touchdown with less than two minutes remaining. Baylor’s final attempt to respond was thwarted by a disciplined TCU secondary, which forced an incomplete pass on fourth down to seal the win. The victory provides a significant boost to TCU’s conference standings as they look to maintain momentum in the second half of the season. Meanwhile, Baylor’s coaching staff expressed disappointment in the team's inability to convert on key third-down opportunities during the second half. Both programs continue to demonstrate the intense competitive nature that has defined this long-standing regional rivalry for decades.
