Green bay packers games

On 18 October 2026, the Green Bay Packers solidified their standing in the NFC North following a hard-fought 24-21 victory against the Detroit Lions at Lambeau Field. The game, which concluded earlier this afternoon, saw the Packers' offense rely heavily on a balanced attack, with quarterback Jordan Love orchestrating a decisive fourth-quarter drive that culminated in a go-ahead touchdown pass. The Packers' defense proved instrumental in the win, forcing two critical turnovers in the final minutes to stifle a potential Lions comeback. Despite a strong performance from the Detroit passing game, Green Bay’s ability to control the clock and execute in the red zone ultimately proved the difference. This win marks a significant momentum shift for the Packers as they head into the mid-season stretch of the 2026 campaign. Head coach Matt LaFleur praised the team's resilience under pressure, noting that the victory was a collective effort that highlights the squad's depth and tactical discipline in high-stakes divisional matchups.
