Is dallas goedert out for the season

As of October 24, 2026, Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert has not been ruled out for the remainder of the season. Following a significant injury sustained during the mid-October stretch of the 2026 NFL campaign, the team placed Goedert on the short-term injured reserve list. Medical evaluations conducted on October 20, 2026, confirmed a soft-tissue injury that requires a multi-week recovery period rather than season-ending surgery. Head coach Nick Sirianni addressed the media on October 22, 2026, emphasizing that the organization remains optimistic about Goedert’s ability to return to the field before the conclusion of the regular season. While he is mandated to miss at least four games under current league protocols, the rehabilitation process is reportedly progressing according to the team's initial timeline. The Eagles have adjusted their offensive scheme to compensate for his absence, but they have explicitly denied rumors suggesting that his 2026 season is over. Fans and fantasy managers should continue to monitor weekly injury reports, as the team expects to provide a more definitive timeline for his return to practice in early November.
