Who does jeremy allen white play in mandalorian and grogu

On 5 October 2026, industry reports confirmed that actor Jeremy Allen White does not have a role in the upcoming feature film The Mandalorian & Grogu. Speculation regarding his potential casting had circulated across social media platforms and fan forums for several months, fueled by rumors of a high-profile cameo or a supporting character introduction within the Star Wars universe. However, official production updates and casting disclosures from Lucasfilm have definitively excluded White from the project's ensemble. The film, which is currently in the final stages of post-production, focuses on the established dynamic between Din Djarin and his companion, Grogu, as they navigate the outer reaches of the galaxy. Representatives for the actor have declined to comment on the origin of these rumors, but studio insiders suggest that the confusion may have stemmed from misidentified set sightings or unauthorized fan-made casting lists. Consequently, fans expecting to see the star of The Bear in this specific cinematic installment will be disappointed, as he remains unattached to the production.
