Purdue football schedule 2026

On 14 October 2026, Purdue University officially finalized the details for its 2026 football campaign, highlighting a rigorous slate of matchups within the expanded Big Ten conference. The schedule, which was confirmed by athletic department officials earlier this week, features a balanced mix of traditional rivalries and high-stakes conference clashes. The Boilermakers are set to open their season in early September, with the non-conference portion of the schedule anchored by a marquee home game against a prominent regional opponent. As the team transitions into the heart of the Big Ten season, they face a demanding stretch of games against perennial powerhouses, including a highly anticipated road trip to face conference rivals in late October. Head coach Ryan Walters emphasized that the 2026 schedule provides a significant opportunity for the program to test its depth and resilience against top-tier competition. Fans are encouraged to prepare for a season defined by intense physical play and strategic adjustments as Purdue aims to climb the conference standings throughout the autumn months.
