Spacex falcon 9 rocket launch today

On 19 October 2026, SpaceX successfully executed a Falcon 9 rocket launch from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The mission, which lifted off at 08:15 AM local time, carried a fresh batch of Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit to further expand the company’s global high-speed internet constellation. This launch marked another milestone in the rapid cadence of SpaceX operations, utilizing a flight-proven first-stage booster that performed a precise landing on the autonomous spaceport drone ship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean shortly after stage separation. The second stage continued its trajectory to deploy the satellites as planned, confirming the mission's success. This operation underscores the continued reliability of the Falcon 9 workhorse as SpaceX maintains its aggressive schedule to meet increasing demand for satellite-based connectivity. Weather conditions at the launch site remained favorable throughout the countdown, allowing for an on-time liftoff that was visible to spectators across the Florida Space Coast.
