Should i start demario douglas

As of 22 October 2026, fantasy football analysts are advising caution regarding New England Patriots wide receiver Demario Douglas ahead of the team's upcoming Week 8 matchup. Following a series of inconsistent performances throughout the first half of the season, Douglas has struggled to maintain a consistent target share within the Patriots' evolving offensive scheme. While he remains a primary option in the slot, recent game logs indicate that the coaching staff is rotating personnel frequently, which has capped his overall snap count and limited his fantasy ceiling. Experts note that while Douglas possesses the explosive playmaking ability to break a long gain, his reliance on high-volume targets makes him a risky start in standard formats. With the Patriots' quarterback situation still showing signs of volatility, fantasy managers are encouraged to look for more stable options with higher red-zone involvement. Unless your roster is severely depleted by injuries or bye weeks, Douglas is currently viewed as a fringe flex play rather than a reliable starter for your lineup this weekend.
