Is demar derozan starting for the nuggets

As of 23 October 2026, DeMar DeRozan is not a member of the Denver Nuggets, and therefore, he is not starting for the team. Following his tenure with the Sacramento Kings, DeRozan remains an active veteran in the NBA, but his career path has not led him to the Denver organization. The Nuggets have maintained a consistent roster strategy centered around their core rotation, and there have been no official transactions or trade reports linking DeRozan to Denver during the current offseason or the early stages of the 2026-2027 campaign. The Denver Nuggets' starting lineup continues to feature their established stars, focusing on team chemistry and continuity rather than integrating the veteran shooting guard. While DeRozan remains a highly respected scorer and playmaker in the league, his skill set has not been identified as a target for the Nuggets' specific roster needs. Consequently, any speculation regarding him starting for Denver is unfounded, as he is currently playing for a different franchise, and the Nuggets' depth chart at the wing and guard positions remains unaffected by his presence.
