What team is anthony richardson on

As of 23 October 2026, Anthony Richardson continues to serve as the starting quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts. Throughout the 2026 NFL season, the organization has maintained its commitment to Richardson as the centerpiece of their offensive strategy. Despite ongoing discussions regarding his consistency and development as a passer, the Colts' coaching staff has publicly reaffirmed their confidence in his unique physical skill set and his role as the franchise leader. The team is currently navigating the mid-point of the regular season, with Richardson taking all primary repetitions during practice sessions to refine his decision-making under pressure. While the Colts have faced various challenges on both sides of the ball this year, the front office has signaled no intention of moving away from the former first-round draft pick. Richardson remains focused on improving his completion percentage and situational awareness as the team pushes for a playoff position in a competitive AFC South division. His status as the team's QB1 remains secure heading into the upcoming weekend's slate of games.
