Is dazn on directv

On 14 October 2026, DIRECTV officially announced an expanded distribution agreement with the global sports streaming platform DAZN, solidifying the integration of the service into the DIRECTV ecosystem. This strategic partnership allows DIRECTV satellite and streaming subscribers to access DAZN’s extensive portfolio of live sports content, including premium boxing matches, international soccer leagues, and various combat sports events, directly through their existing set-top boxes and integrated interfaces. The move is designed to streamline the viewing experience for sports enthusiasts who previously had to switch between external devices or smart TV applications to access DAZN’s specialized programming. By incorporating DAZN as a seamless add-on within the DIRECTV platform, the companies aim to reduce friction for users while expanding the reach of DAZN’s pay-per-view events. This integration is part of a broader industry trend where traditional satellite providers are increasingly acting as aggregators for niche streaming services to maintain relevance in a fragmented media landscape. Subscribers can now manage their DAZN subscriptions directly through their DIRECTV billing accounts, simplifying the administrative process for accessing high-demand sports content.
