Apple new macbook pro release date

On 29 October 2026, Apple officially unveiled its latest generation of MacBook Pro laptops, confirming that the new devices will be available for purchase starting 8 November 2026. The updated lineup is powered by the highly anticipated M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max silicon, marking a significant leap in performance and energy efficiency for the company’s professional-grade portable computers. The new models retain the familiar design language of their predecessors but introduce enhanced display technology, including an optional nano-texture glass display to reduce glare in bright environments. Additionally, the base model now starts with 16GB of unified memory, addressing long-standing user requests for higher entry-level specifications. The release also highlights improved battery life, with Apple claiming up to 24 hours of playback on a single charge for the most efficient configurations. Pre-orders for the new MacBook Pro series opened immediately following the announcement, with retail availability scheduled for early November across global markets. This launch reinforces Apple's commitment to integrating advanced artificial intelligence capabilities directly into its hardware ecosystem through the new M4 architecture.
