Kings vs pelicans

On 1 November 2026, the Sacramento Kings secured a hard-fought victory against the New Orleans Pelicans in a pivotal early-season Western Conference matchup. The game, characterized by a blistering offensive pace from both sides, saw the Kings rely on a balanced scoring attack to overcome a resilient Pelicans squad that struggled to contain Sacramento’s perimeter shooting in the final quarter. De’Aaron Fox led the charge for the Kings, orchestrating the offense with precision and delivering key baskets during a decisive 12-2 run late in the fourth period. Despite a standout performance from Zion Williamson, who dominated the paint and kept the Pelicans within striking distance for much of the contest, New Orleans ultimately faltered due to a series of costly turnovers in the closing minutes. The win marks a significant momentum builder for Sacramento as they continue to solidify their standing in the competitive West, while the Pelicans look to address defensive lapses that have plagued their recent outings. Both teams are scheduled to continue their respective road trips later this week.
