Where do i vote today near me

Today, Tuesday, November 3, 2026, marks the official Election Day for the 2026 midterm cycle across the United States. Millions of citizens are heading to their designated polling locations to cast ballots for various federal, state, and local offices, including key congressional seats and gubernatorial races. Election officials have emphasized that voters must visit their assigned precinct to ensure their vote is counted correctly. To locate specific polling stations, voters are encouraged to utilize official state election websites or the federal government’s centralized voting portal, which provides personalized information based on residential addresses. Polls generally remain open from early morning until 7:00 or 8:00 p.m. local time, though voters who are in line by the time polls close are legally entitled to cast their ballots. Authorities have reminded the public to bring valid identification as required by their specific state laws and to check for any last-minute changes to polling locations caused by logistical adjustments or emergency site relocations.
