White house chief of staff susie wiles

On 6 November 2026, President-elect Donald Trump officially announced the appointment of Susie Wiles as his White House Chief of Staff. This historic selection marks the first time a woman has been named to lead the West Wing in this capacity. Wiles, who served as the senior advisor and campaign manager for Trump’s successful 2024 presidential bid, is widely credited with running a disciplined and highly effective operation that secured his return to the presidency. Known for her strategic acumen and low-profile approach to political management, Wiles has earned the trust of the President-elect and his inner circle. Her appointment is viewed by political analysts as a signal that the incoming administration intends to prioritize organizational efficiency and operational stability. As Chief of Staff, Wiles will be responsible for managing the President’s schedule, overseeing the executive office staff, and serving as the primary gatekeeper for policy and personnel decisions. Her transition into this role is expected to begin immediately as the administration prepares for the upcoming inauguration in January.
