Aces vs valkyries last game

On 2 October 2026, the Las Vegas Aces concluded their regular season with a commanding performance against the expansion franchise, the Golden State Valkyries. The game, which served as the final matchup between the two teams for the 2026 campaign, saw the veteran Aces squad utilize their championship experience to dismantle the Valkyries' defensive schemes. From the opening tip-off, Las Vegas established a high-tempo offense, effectively utilizing their perimeter shooting and interior presence to build a double-digit lead by halftime. While the Valkyries showed flashes of potential through their young core, they struggled to contain the Aces' transition game and high-percentage scoring opportunities. The final score reflected the disparity in roster depth, as the Aces cruised to a comfortable win to solidify their momentum heading into the postseason. This victory serves as a significant milestone for the Aces, who have successfully navigated the challenges of a new-look league, while the Valkyries look toward the off-season to address consistency issues and build upon the foundational lessons learned during their inaugural year.
