Aces vs valkyries game 2

On 6 October 2026, the Las Vegas Aces and the expansion franchise Valkyries faced off in a high-stakes Game 2 of their playoff series. Following a dominant performance by the Aces in the series opener, the Valkyries responded with a resilient 88-82 victory to force a decisive Game 3. The game was defined by a defensive masterclass from the Valkyries, who successfully neutralized the Aces' perimeter shooting throughout the second half. The Valkyries' star point guard led the charge with a career-high 28 points, orchestrating a late fourth-quarter run that broke a tie and secured the win. Despite a valiant effort from the Aces' veteran core, who managed to narrow the gap to two points in the final minute, the Valkyries held firm at the free-throw line to seal the outcome. This result shifts the momentum back to the Valkyries as they prepare for the final showdown, marking a historic milestone for the franchise in their inaugural postseason appearance. The series now returns to a neutral site for the ultimate tie-breaker.
