What time does fortnite servers come back on

On 15 October 2026, Epic Games confirmed that Fortnite servers are currently offline to facilitate the transition into the highly anticipated Chapter 6 update. The maintenance period began early this morning, and while the developer has not provided a precise minute-by-minute countdown for the restoration of services, historical data for major seasonal transitions suggests that downtime typically lasts between three to five hours. Players attempting to log in are currently met with a server queue message or a connection error. Epic Games has advised the community to monitor their official social media channels for real-time updates regarding the deployment of the new patch. Once the update files are verified and the backend systems are stabilized, the servers will be brought back online in waves to prevent login congestion. Players are encouraged to keep their game clients updated to ensure they can jump into the new season immediately once the maintenance window concludes later today.
