Who does corey heim drive for

On 27 October 2026, 23XI Racing officially announced that rising star Corey Heim will pilot the team’s third entry in the NASCAR Cup Series starting with the 2027 season. This move marks a significant promotion for the 24-year-old driver, who has spent the previous seasons competing under the Toyota Racing Development banner. Heim, who has demonstrated exceptional consistency and race-winning capability in the Xfinity and Truck Series, will be paired with a veteran crew chief to help navigate his rookie campaign. The organization stated that this expansion is part of a long-term strategic plan to bolster their competitive presence across the premier series. Heim expressed his gratitude for the opportunity, noting that the transition to a full-time Cup ride is the culmination of years of development within the Toyota pipeline. The team confirmed that sponsorship details and the specific car number for Heim’s entry will be revealed in the coming weeks as they finalize preparations for the upcoming Daytona 500.
