Haunted hotel rotten tomatoes score

As of 31 October 2026, the horror film "Haunted Hotel," released earlier this year, maintains a critical standing on Rotten Tomatoes. Following its wide release on 14 August 2026, the film currently holds a 42% approval rating based on 65 professional reviews. Critics have largely praised the atmospheric cinematography and the lead performance, but the consensus remains divided due to a perceived lack of narrative originality and pacing issues in the second act. The audience score, which is calculated from verified ticket purchases, sits slightly higher at 58%, reflecting a more favorable reception among genre enthusiasts who appreciated the practical effects used throughout the production. While the film failed to achieve a "Certified Fresh" status, it has become a notable entry in the 2026 horror landscape, frequently discussed in forums regarding the evolution of supernatural tropes. The film’s performance on the platform has stabilized over the last two months, with no significant fluctuations in its score since the initial wave of post-theatrical reviews concluded in mid-September.
