Nyc marathon tracker app

On 28 October 2026, the New York Road Runners (NYRR) officially released the updated TCS New York City Marathon App, powered by Tata Consultancy Services, ahead of the upcoming race weekend. Designed to serve as the primary digital hub for both participants and spectators, the application features a robust real-time runner tracking system. Users can search for participants by name or bib number to receive live progress updates, including split times and estimated finish times as runners navigate the five-borough course. The app also integrates interactive course maps, spectator guides, and live broadcast streaming capabilities to ensure a seamless experience for those following the event remotely. This year’s iteration includes improved GPS accuracy and push notification settings, allowing family and friends to receive instant alerts when their runners cross specific timing mats. With the race scheduled for early November, the app remains the essential tool for monitoring the field of professional athletes and thousands of recreational runners participating in the world’s largest marathon.
