Early voting times and locations near me

On 2 November 2026, election officials across the United States finalized the operational details for the final day of early voting ahead of the upcoming midterm elections. With polls closing in many jurisdictions today, authorities have emphasized that voters must verify their specific assigned polling locations through official state election portals, as many temporary early voting centers are transitioning into standard precinct sites for Election Day. Officials noted that while most early voting sites have maintained extended hours throughout the week, today marks the deadline for in-person early casting in several key states. Voters are encouraged to utilize official government websites to input their residential addresses, which will generate a personalized list of the nearest open voting centers and their respective operating hours. Election boards have reported high turnout across various regions, urging citizens to check for potential wait times and identification requirements before heading to the polls. This final push aims to ensure that all eligible voters have access to their designated locations before the transition to the primary voting period concludes.
