Lions player jack campbell injury update

On 30 October 2026, reports confirmed that Detroit Lions linebacker Jack Campbell is currently managing a lingering lower-body injury that has impacted his practice availability during the team's mid-season stretch. The coaching staff has opted to limit his repetitions in team drills to ensure he remains available for critical divisional matchups. Campbell, who has become a cornerstone of the Lions' defensive front, sustained the minor soft-tissue issue during the team's Week 7 victory. While the medical staff has not classified the injury as long-term, they are monitoring his recovery closely to prevent any aggravation that could sideline him for an extended period. Campbell has expressed confidence in his ability to play through the discomfort, noting that his focus remains on maintaining his defensive assignments and communication duties on the field. The Lions are expected to provide a final status update regarding his game-day availability following the conclusion of the final practice session this week, as the team prepares for their upcoming Sunday contest.
