When is the fortnite servers going to be back up

On 1 November 2026, Epic Games officially confirmed that Fortnite servers are currently offline to facilitate the transition into the highly anticipated Chapter 6. The maintenance period began in the early hours of the morning as developers deploy the latest seasonal update, which includes significant map overhauls, new gameplay mechanics, and the integration of the latest battle pass content. While players attempting to log in are currently met with a server downtime notification, Epic Games has indicated that the process is proceeding according to their internal schedule. Based on historical update patterns and the current progress of the deployment, the developers expect the servers to be back online for all platforms by approximately 12:00 PM UTC. Players are encouraged to monitor the official Fortnite Status social media channels for real-time updates regarding the restoration of matchmaking services. Once the maintenance concludes, users will be required to download a mandatory patch before they can access the new content and resume competitive play across all game modes.
