When will fortnite servers be back up today

On 1 November 2026, Epic Games confirmed that Fortnite servers underwent a period of scheduled downtime to implement the latest seasonal content update. The maintenance began at 4:00 AM ET, leading to a temporary suspension of matchmaking services across all platforms, including PC, consoles, and mobile devices. Players attempting to log in during this window were met with a server status notification indicating that the game was unavailable. According to the official status report released by the developers, the downtime was necessary to deploy new gameplay features, balance adjustments, and stability improvements for the current season. While Epic Games did not provide a specific minute-by-minute countdown for the restoration of services, they noted that maintenance typically lasts between two to four hours depending on the complexity of the patch. By 8:00 AM ET on 1 November 2026, the company confirmed that the update had been successfully pushed to all regions. Players were advised to restart their game clients to download the necessary files and regain access to the battle royale island.
