Murray state basketball schedule

On 28 October 2026, Murray State University officially released the full non-conference schedule for the 2026-2027 men’s basketball season. The Racers are set to open their campaign at the CFSB Center with a high-profile matchup against a regional rival, signaling a challenging start to the year. Head coach Steve Prohm emphasized that the schedule was intentionally designed to test the team’s depth and chemistry before entering Missouri Valley Conference play. Key highlights include a multi-game road trip to face power-conference opponents in early November, followed by a series of home games aimed at building momentum for the conference slate. The schedule features a balanced mix of mid-major programs and established tournament contenders, providing the Racers with multiple opportunities to bolster their postseason resume early in the season. Fans can expect a fast-paced style of play as the team integrates several new transfers into the rotation. The athletic department confirmed that all home games will be broadcast on regional networks, with tip-off times finalized for the majority of the non-conference contests.
