Will caleb williams play week 6

On 12 October 2026, reports confirmed that Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams successfully navigated the team's medical protocols to start in the Week 6 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Following a minor lower-body injury sustained during the previous week's contest, there had been significant speculation regarding his availability for the London-based game. However, after participating fully in the final practice session of the week, the coaching staff officially cleared him to take the field. Williams demonstrated no visible limitations during pre-game warmups, alleviating concerns from the coaching staff and fantasy managers alike. His presence was pivotal for the Bears' offensive strategy as they looked to capitalize on a favorable matchup across the pond. The decision to start Williams underscored the team's confidence in his recovery and his importance to their mid-season playoff push. By securing the start, Williams continued his streak of consecutive appearances, maintaining his development trajectory as the franchise's primary signal-caller throughout the remainder of the 2026 regular season.
