Who is the kicker for the rams

As of 21 September 2026, the Los Angeles Rams have solidified their special teams unit with rookie standout Joshua Karty serving as the primary placekicker. Following a highly competitive training camp and a strong start to the 2026 regular season, the organization has expressed full confidence in Karty’s ability to handle high-pressure field goal attempts and kickoff duties. The decision to stick with Karty comes after the team moved on from veteran options during the offseason to prioritize younger talent with significant leg strength. Coaching staff noted that Karty’s consistency during practice sessions and his performance in the opening weeks of the season have been instrumental in the team's ability to secure points in tight contests. While the team maintains a practice squad contingency plan for emergency situations, Karty remains the undisputed starter on the active roster. His development continues to be a focal point for the special teams coordinator as the Rams look to maintain their competitive edge in the NFC West throughout the remainder of the 2026 campaign.
