Mlb playoff schedule as of today

As of Wednesday, October 28, 2026, the Major League Baseball postseason has reached its ultimate conclusion. The 2026 World Series, which featured a hard-fought battle between the American League and National League champions, officially wrapped up earlier this week. Following a grueling month of playoff baseball that began with the Wild Card rounds in early October, the league successfully navigated the Division Series and League Championship Series to determine the final two contenders. The championship series concluded in a decisive game, crowning the 2026 World Series winner and marking the end of the professional baseball calendar. With the final out recorded and the Commissioner’s Trophy awarded, the league has now transitioned into the offseason phase.
