When is sophia coming back to katseye

On 24 September 2026, HYBE and Geffen Records issued an official statement regarding the current status of the global girl group Katseye, specifically addressing ongoing fan inquiries about member Sophia Laforteza. Following a brief period of inactivity for the artist due to personal health reasons, the management confirmed that Sophia is currently in the final stages of her recovery process. The statement clarified that there is no permanent departure or long-term hiatus planned for the member. While the label did not provide a specific calendar date for her return to live performances or promotional activities, they emphasized that she remains an integral part of the group’s upcoming international tour schedule. The announcement was intended to quell rumors circulating on social media regarding a potential permanent lineup change. Fans have been assured that Sophia is expected to rejoin the group for their next major project, with further updates regarding her specific return to the stage to be provided through official channels once she is medically cleared for full participation.
