When is the elder scrolls 6 coming out

On 5 October 2026, Bethesda Softworks released an official statement regarding the long-awaited development of The Elder Scrolls VI. Following years of speculation and the successful post-launch support of Starfield, the studio confirmed that the project has officially entered the final stages of full production. While the developers stopped short of providing a specific calendar date, they indicated that the game is currently in a playable state, with the team focusing heavily on polishing the expansive open-world mechanics and refining the narrative depth. Bethesda leadership emphasized that they are prioritizing quality over speed to ensure the title meets the high expectations set by its predecessor. Industry analysts suggest that given the current development trajectory and the studio's historical release patterns, a launch window in late 2027 or early 2028 is the most probable outcome. Fans have been advised to expect a formal gameplay reveal trailer during the upcoming summer showcase, which will likely provide the first concrete look at the game's setting and core features.
