Is adonai mitchell playing today

As of Sunday, September 27, 2026, Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Adonai Mitchell is officially active and expected to play in today’s matchup. Following a week of uncertainty regarding his availability due to a minor lower-body injury sustained during practice on Wednesday, the team’s medical staff cleared him for participation after he successfully completed a pre-game workout this morning. Mitchell, who has become a focal point of the Colts' passing attack this season, was listed as questionable on the final injury report released on Friday, September 25, 2026. Head coach Shane Steichen confirmed during his pre-game media availability that Mitchell would be in the starting lineup, though the coaching staff may monitor his snap count throughout the game to ensure he does not aggravate the lingering issue. Fans and fantasy managers can expect him to be on the field for the opening kickoff, providing quarterback Anthony Richardson with his primary deep-threat option as the team looks to secure a critical divisional victory this afternoon.
