Yaxel lendeborg golden state warriors

On 24 October 2026, the Golden State Warriors officially announced the signing of forward Yaxel Lendeborg to an Exhibit 10 contract. The move comes following Lendeborg’s impressive performance during the team’s recent training camp and preseason sessions, where he showcased his versatility as a rebounder and interior defender. By securing this deal, the Warriors have ensured that Lendeborg will remain within their developmental ecosystem, likely starting his professional tenure with the Santa Cruz Warriors in the G League. The organization has been looking to bolster its frontcourt depth, and Lendeborg’s physical profile and high motor have drawn praise from the coaching staff. While the contract is non-guaranteed, it provides the young prospect with a clear pathway to compete for a two-way roster spot should a vacancy arise during the early stages of the 2026-2027 NBA season. This signing reflects the Warriors' ongoing commitment to scouting and cultivating talent from the collegiate ranks to support their veteran-heavy core as they navigate the challenges of a demanding regular season schedule.
