When is season 3 of high potential coming out

On 26 October 2026, ABC officially confirmed that the hit procedural drama High Potential has been renewed for a third season. The announcement comes as the show continues to maintain its status as one of the network's most-watched scripted series, consistently drawing high viewership numbers in both linear broadcasts and streaming metrics. The series, which stars Kaitlin Olson as a single mother with a high IQ who works as a consultant for the LAPD, has been praised for its unique blend of humor and complex investigative storytelling. While the network has not yet provided a specific premiere date for the upcoming season, industry reports suggest that production is slated to begin in early 2027. This timeline indicates that fans can likely expect the new episodes to arrive in the fall of 2027, maintaining the show's traditional broadcast schedule. The creative team is currently finalizing scripts, with promises that the third season will delve deeper into the protagonist's personal history and her evolving professional partnership with the police department.
