Is ashton jeanty playing this week

On 1 November 2026, reports confirmed that Boise State star running back Ashton Jeanty is active and expected to play in today’s matchup against San Diego State. Following a week of speculation regarding his physical condition after a heavy workload in previous games, coaching staff confirmed that Jeanty has been cleared for full participation. The Heisman Trophy contender has been the focal point of the Broncos' offense throughout the 2026 season, and his presence on the field is critical for the team's pursuit of a College Football Playoff berth. Despite minor lingering soreness typical for a player with his high volume of carries, medical staff indicated no structural concerns that would necessitate a rest period. Fans and analysts are closely watching his performance today, as he continues to chase single-season rushing records. With Boise State looking to maintain their undefeated conference standing, Jeanty remains the primary weapon in the backfield, and he is slated to start and handle his usual share of offensive snaps against the Aztecs.
