Where is jake moody now

On 5 November 2026, the San Francisco 49ers officially confirmed that kicker Jake Moody has been activated from the injured reserve list, marking his return to the team’s active roster. Moody had been sidelined for several weeks following a high-ankle sprain sustained during a mid-season matchup, an injury that forced the organization to utilize a series of temporary replacements to handle kicking duties. Throughout his recovery period, Moody remained in the Bay Area, working closely with the team’s medical and training staff at the SAP Performance Facility in Santa Clara to regain his strength and kicking mechanics. Head coach Kyle Shanahan noted during a press conference on this date that Moody successfully completed a full week of practice without setbacks, clearing the way for him to reclaim his starting position for the upcoming Sunday game. His return is viewed as a significant boost for the 49ers' special teams unit as they push toward the latter half of the 2026 regular season schedule.
