Kenny moore eagles

On 20 September 2026, reports surrounding the Indianapolis Colts' defensive roster highlighted the continued stability of veteran cornerback Kenny Moore II. Despite persistent offseason speculation linking the Pro Bowl defensive back to various contenders, including the Philadelphia Eagles, Moore remains a cornerstone of the Colts' secondary as the 2026 season progresses. Analysts noted that while the Eagles were frequently mentioned as a potential landing spot due to their need for experienced slot coverage, Indianapolis opted to retain Moore to mentor their younger defensive backs. Moore’s performance in the early weeks of the 2026 campaign has reaffirmed his value as a versatile playmaker capable of disrupting passing lanes and contributing in run support. The Eagles, meanwhile, have had to address their secondary depth through internal development and other acquisitions. As of late September 2026, there is no indication of active trade negotiations between the two franchises, with Moore fully committed to the Colts' defensive scheme as they navigate the middle portion of the regular season schedule.
