Daft punk lego guitarship proposal

On 19 October 2026, a creative fan-made proposal on the LEGO Ideas platform gained significant traction, capturing the attention of the global music and building community. The project, titled "Daft Punk Guitarship," reimagines the iconic electronic duo’s aesthetic through a futuristic, space-faring vessel shaped like a sleek, chrome-plated electric guitar. The design features intricate details, including translucent neon accents that mimic the duo’s signature light-up helmets and stage production elements. Supporters of the project have praised the builder for blending the distinct visual identity of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo with the modular versatility of LEGO bricks. As the proposal approaches the necessary threshold of 10,000 supporters to qualify for an official product review by LEGO designers, the online buzz has reignited nostalgia for the group’s legacy. While LEGO has not yet commented on the feasibility of a potential collaboration, the project serves as a testament to the enduring cultural impact of Daft Punk, proving that their influence continues to inspire innovative fan art and community-driven design initiatives years after their retirement.
