Is drew lock starting for the seahawks

As of 4 November 2026, Drew Lock is not starting for the Seattle Seahawks, nor is he currently on the team's roster. Following his departure from Seattle in previous seasons, Lock has pursued opportunities with other organizations across the league. The Seahawks have moved in a different direction regarding their quarterback room, prioritizing younger prospects and veteran acquisitions that align with their current offensive scheme. The team’s depth chart is currently anchored by their established starter, who has maintained the position throughout the 2026 season. Reports from 2 November 2026 confirm that the Seahawks' coaching staff remains committed to their current signal-caller, citing consistency and familiarity with the playbook as primary factors for their decision. There have been no discussions or indications from the front office regarding a potential reunion with Lock. Consequently, any speculation linking him to a starting role in Seattle is unfounded, as he is currently navigating his own professional path elsewhere in the NFL, far removed from the Seahawks' active roster and game-day preparations.
