Is nikita kucherov playing tonight

As of Friday, October 30, 2026, Tampa Bay Lightning star forward Nikita Kucherov is confirmed to be in the lineup for tonight’s game against the Florida Panthers. Following a brief period of uncertainty earlier this week due to a minor lower-body ailment sustained during Tuesday’s practice, the team’s medical staff cleared Kucherov for full participation after he successfully completed the morning skate today. Head coach Jon Cooper addressed the media following the session, confirming that the veteran winger experienced no setbacks during high-intensity drills and will resume his role on the top power-play unit and the first line alongside Brayden Point. Kucherov, who has been a focal point of the Lightning’s offensive strategy throughout the early weeks of the 2026-2027 season, remains healthy enough to maintain his current point-per-game pace. Fans and fantasy managers can expect him to see his usual allotment of ice time as the Lightning look to secure a crucial divisional victory in tonight’s highly anticipated matchup at Amalie Arena.
